Flash Motors Brings Its Premium Hyperscooter to America
Flash Motors debuted its Infinity X premium hyperscooter at the four-day Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024.
Held from January 09 to 12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the trade fair included over 4,000 companies and 7,000 media members. Cypriot startup Flash Motors booked one of the over 3,500 exhibit spots to exhibit its newest electric scooter.
This marked the firm’s first display in the US and the first mass exposure for Infinity X. The microtechnology scooter, sold only in limited outlets in Cyprus, is set for a global release in the coming months.
Infinity X will be Flash Motors’ new flagship product with a starting price of $10,000. Brand ambassador Charalampos “The Ferocious” Grigoriou led the CES presentation.
The premium hyperscooter boasts a performance yet to be seen in America’s electric scooter industry. It defies the three things e-scooters are often criticized for: slow speed, short operational duration, and long charge time.
On average, electric scooters can run 24 to 48 kilometers per hour and traverse 16 to 40 kilometers with a single charge. It usually takes 4 to 20 hours for the standard e-scooter battery to go from empty to full. With its upgraded specs, the Flash Motors Infinity X blows such metrics out of the water.
Its 1.5KW Dual BLDC high-performance motor enables it to accelerate up to 120 kph, more than thrice as fast as its peers. It has one four-piston dual-drive brake on the front and another in the rear for instant braking to avoid accidents.
In addition, its 72V Samsung li 21700 50gb battery allows the electric scooter to cover 110 kilometers before it runs out of juice. Despite its high-end capacity, it only takes six hours to charge fully.
A 6061 aluminum alloy and carbon fiber construction makes the Infinity X extra tough. Along with its IP67 waterproofing, it can be ridden in any terrain and weather without fear of reducing its useful life.
Lastly, the microtechnology scooter comes with the Flash Motors Nano Elite X28K advanced AI controller. Using advanced AI and machine learning technology, it makes automatic optimizations based on rider and terrain data.
